Health Insurance, who needs it?
You do! Everyone does!
The question is: can you afford it?
There are several options through the New York State of Health (our state’s access to the Affordable Care Act, alternately known as Obamacare) to assist you in affording the care and/or coverage you need.
In NY State, insurance is priced and offered by County. Your options in Ulster County can be very different from your options in Westchester County. What is available to you and how much will it cost? When you work with me, I will get you the answers.
For You
How does the Affordable Care Act effect you?
I work with the New York State of Health Marketplace and you to create an account, see if you are eligible for a tax credit and help you select the right Health Insurance for you. The process is still evolving but many of my clients are entitled to an Advance Premium Tax Credit. That is the governments way of helping you pay your premium on a monthly basis.
Don't want to go through the "Marketplace"?
I am appointed with many of the major carriers available in New York and can assist you in selecting a plan directly through the Health Insurance provider of your choice.
